The service functions as a business continuity solution for customers who already have a primary Internet connection. In the event of an outage on the primary access circuit, traffic is automatically re-routed to a 4G LTE wireless connection. Wireless Internet Backup will be sold as a value added service to Nitel’s dedicated Internet access and MPLS.
