National Association for Business Resources names Company to
“101 Best and Brightest Places to Work For”

CHICAGO [July 5, 2011]- Nitel, Inc., a nationwide provider of telecommunications network services, today announced that the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) has named Nitel to its annual list of 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.

The selection of the 2011 winning companies is a result of an independent research firm that evaluates each company’s entry in the following categories: communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, small business, recruitment and selection, and work-life balance.

“This year’s winners epitomize what it means to be committed to employees. Our winners excelled at employee relations, used innovation to motivate employees, implemented creative compensation programs and more. They serve as a standard for other companies to work toward,” said Jennifer Kluge, NABR president. “We are proud to honor this year’s 101 winners.”

“Nitel’s culture is to emphasize a balanced environment of work and play and to give back to our community,” said Nitel CEO Rick Stern. “Each year we have two incentive trips and about ten local events for our staff. We also support a handful of local charities through corporate giving and employee involvement. As an example, each year we sponsor a 5K run/walk for our staff where the Nitel’s annual gift to a local charity is tied to the number of people who participate in the event. These things, coupled with the fast-paced nature of our business, keep our staff engaged, which translates to improved client satisfaction.”

Winners will be honored at a symposium and awards luncheon on Mon., Aug. 1, 2011 at the Chicago Oak Brook Marriott. The full list of winners can be found at http://www.101bestandbrightest.com/winners.
