Chicago, IL [June 19, 2013] — Nitel, a nationwide provider of managed telecom services, has been named by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) to their list of 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For™. This marks the third straight year Nitel has earned a place on this list.
“Profitability and stability is essential for businesses in today’s economic climate,” said Jennifer Kluge, NABR president. “Companies that recognize that their employees are the key to their success achieve staying power. Our 2013 winners create their human resource standards to ensure employee satisfaction and they set standards for every business to aspire toward. We are proud to honor this year’s winners.”
An independent research firm evaluated each company’s entry based on key measures in various categories. They included Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions, Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention, Employee Education and Development, Recruitment, Selection and Orientation, Employee Achievement and Recognition, Communication and Shared Vision, Diversity and Inclusion, Work-Life Balance, Community Initiatives, Strategic Company Performance and the Best of the Best Small Business.
“We strive to provide an exciting work-life balance,” Nitel CEO Rick Stern said. “Our culture is one where employees are challenged to learn and grow. We offer tuition reimbursement and on-going skills training throughout the year. We have around ten staff events each year where employees are able to socialize and grow closer as a team. And employees are encouraged to give back through our work with local community organizations. Our commitment to our employees, coupled with our dedication to total client satisfaction and outstanding growth, make Nitel a great place to work.”
Winning companies will be honored at the Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For symposium and luncheon on August 5, 2013 at the Oak Brook Double Tree.
