An avid football fan, Paul once entered a local radio show’s pro football challenge. Armed with stats and game film, he sat down for an in-depth evaluation of each matchup. The result: he picked every winner three weeks in a row—a feat never before accomplished in the ten years the show had been running the contest. He even had his own theme song.
As our general counsel, Paul is instrumental in negotiating hundreds of telecom and sales agreements, utilizing sound judgment to do what’s best for our company and our clients. His integrity and legal acumen ensure we anticipate issues and protect against risk.
Prior to joining Nitel, Paul worked as corporate counsel at Level 3 Communications where he negotiated sales agreements and provided legal support for a nationwide sales team. As senior counsel at Looking Glass Networks, Paul supplied company-wide legal counsel in support of sales, network development, network services, regulatory matters, construction, vendor agreements, real estate, and human resources.
Paul received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and received his juris doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Illinois, Minnesota State Bar, and State Bar of California.
