Lisa Taranto joined Nitel as Chief Accounting Officer in May 2021 and has led the company’s finance and accounting organization including billing operations, strategic planning, and treasury management.
Before joining Nitel, Lisa served as Chief Financial Officer for Resurgence Infrastructure Group building financial operations, accounting systems and processes for the newly acquired colocation and dark fiber infrastructure entity. Lisa also spent five years as Vice President and Principal Accounting Officer at Fusion Connect. While at Fusion Connect, Lisa led the company’s Financial Operations and Accounting Organization including SEC reporting and played a key role in the company’s 10X growth during that time. Earlier in her career, Ms. Taranto held executive management roles at MCI/Verizon Business, where she led the Global Financial Operations and IT Revenue Systems organizations. Lisa brings more than 20 years of financial management experience in the communications industry with both public and private enterprises. Throughout her career in the communications and technology industry she has played a key role in numerous acquisitions building and restructuring best in class accounting organizations and financial systems.
