CHICAGO – October 3, 2022— Nitel, a leading network as a service (NaaS) provider, announced today that Jim Glackin, Nitel’s executive vice president of channel sales, will be a featured speaker on a panel of industry experts called Aggregation: The Easy Win. Glackin will be joined by executives from Granite, MetTel and Spectrotel as they discuss the concept of leveraging existing network infrastructure from multiple vendors to provide complete network solutions to geographically distributed enterprises.

“I am pleased to be part of this panel at Channel Connect as I think it is a topic that has not been explored thoroughly enough,” Glackin said. “Aggregation can be a daunting conversation at times because in reality everybody aggregates, even the biggest network providers. We’ll have a lively discussion about how market demand has evolved, and how Nitel’s NaaS model leverages aggregation to great benefit in delivering complete technology solutions that also include SD-WAN, security, analytics, visibility and management.”

According to ScanSource, the session is designed to help attendees to understand when and why they should consider providers with proficiency in aggregation for customer opportunities. The panel will offer practical tips to determine the right type of provider as well as the value of an aggregated approach to network. The panel will address how partners can navigate common questions about aggregators as well as the problems aggregators solve with their solutions.

“While we want to equip partners to make better recommendations about the acquisition of network services, we also want to help them understand that aggregating is a necessary part of building the types of solutions today’s cloud-first customers want,” said Glackin. “They are interested in consuming integrated technology solutions. What you do behind the scenes to build connectivity is merely a means to an end. The panel should shed a lot of light on this concept through the lens of a customer.”

Channel Connect will be held in Nashville, TN from October 2-5 at the Omni Nashville Hotel. Aggregation: the Easy Win session will be held on Tuesday, October 4 from 1:30 – 2:05 p.m. CT. The session is part of the Intelysis Educational Breakout Sessions.
