Castranova recognized for her innovative, collaborative, fun and accountable approach to channel partner success
CHICAGO – Oct. 9, 2017 – Nitel, a leading nationwide managed network service provider, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Taylor Castranova, Vice President of Channel Sales and Account Development, as one of the “100 People You Don’t Know But Should” in the IT channel for 2017.
The CRN editorial team, assessing feedback from solution providers and other industry executives, compiles this annual list to celebrate under-the-radar channel management team members from the industry’s top vendors and distributors. Those selected have worked tirelessly to create, promote and manage programs and policies that support and advance the IT channel.
With more than a decade of channel sales and account management experience, Castranova joined Nitel in July 2017 from Windstream to lead and build the network services provider’s account development team, as well as nurture and expand its relationships with channel partners. Staying true to her mantra – “innovate, collaborate, have fun and be accountable” – Castranova is inspiring her team to identify and bring to market new and better ways for Nitel’s channel partners to generate more business, grow more profitably and expand their business with next-generation services like SD-WAN and managed security .
“Taylor’s knowledge of the midmarket and enterprise space is proving invaluable to our channel partners looking to expand their roles and make the business case for new and emerging technologies such as SD-WAN,” said Jason Dishon, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Nitel. “Thank you to CRN for recognizing Taylor’s ambition and her ongoing, high-impact contributions to our partners and the channel community.”
“A number of unsung channel heroes work hard every day to drive innovation, profits and successful partnerships, holding the IT ecosystem’s equilibrium steady and keeping it on a path to growth,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “They may not often share the spotlight with more high-profile channel figures, but the difference they make is irrefutable. We are pleased to shine a light on these individuals with CRN’s 2017 list of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should and to honor their essential contributions to the channel.”
The 2017 list of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should will be featured in the October issue of CRN and can be viewed online at www.crn.com/100people.
