Chicago, IL — June 9, 2014 — Nitel, a leading managed telecom service provider, today announced it has added Michael Gough as director of channel sales.  In this newly created role of “channel chief” Gough will focus on the overall strategic direction of Nitel’s channel program.

With over 25 years of sales and leadership experience in the telecom industry, Gough is ready to make an immediate impact.  He talked about some of his goals for the Nitel channel program:

“We’re looking to strengthen our relationships with top master agents while ensuring that we have programs and support in place to help agents of all types succeed,” Gough said.

Gough has previously led teams at CBeyond, Paetec, and Cavalier.  He also served in the United States Coast Guard, and is an Operation Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom veteran.
