CHICAGO [March 7, 2016] – Nitel, a leading nationwide managed telecom service provider, today announced its Cloud Connection Service as the latest addition to its growing suite of cloud enablement solutions.
The new offering provides business customers with secure, reliable access to key cloud service providers. For customers whose business applications rely on leading cloud platforms, Cloud Connection Service will provide additional security and a higher level of performance by keeping private data separated from public Internet traffic using secure virtual circuits over Nitel’s nationwide network.

“Customers using Cloud Connection Service will see reduced latency and improved quality on their network traffic to and from their cloud based resources,” according to Patrick Herron, Nitel’s vice president of Product Management. “Plus, Cloud Connection Service links businesses to CSPs with private connections that are completely separate from the public Internet.”
The new service is available immediately to business customers through Nitel’s extensive agent channel. The company will be attending the Channel Partners Conference in Las Vegas March 16-18. Nitel sales and executive staff will be available for one-on-one meetings for the duration of the conference.
