CHICAGO [May 17, 2016] – Nitel, a leading nationwide managed telecom service provider, announced today that it has added industry veteran Michael Masini to its channel team as director of channel sales. Masini’s addition will strengthen Nitel’s channel leadership as it moves forward with plans to double the size of its channel team in the next six months.
Masini brings over 25 years of telecom experience to Nitel, 16 of which have been supporting the channel. Prior to joining Nitel, he was vice president of the channel at TNCI/Impact Telecom. He also held executive and management positions at Clarus Communications, Cbeyond, PAETEC/Windstream and Broadwing/Level 3.
According to Masini, “The part I have enjoyed most about the channel is developing partnerships, especially when all parties need to be resourceful in order to reach a common goal.” He continued, “Nitel has a reputation for delivering secure, high-performance network services to business customers, while giving agents the support they need to be successful. As I looked around the industry at channel programs and saw the caliber of the executive team and they type of talent they attract, Nitel stood out as the place I wanted to be.”

Masini will be based out of Nitel’s headquarters in Chicago and will lead a team of channel managers across the country.
