Chicago, IL — August 20, 2014 — Nitel, a leading managed telecom service provider, has been named to the annual Inc. 500|5000 list for a sixth year in a row. Nitel also landed a spot on the Inc. 5000 Honor Roll as one of a select group of companies to make the list five times or more.
The list, published annually by Inc. magazine, represents the top privately-held companies in the U.S., ranked by growth percentage. Nitel posted a three-year growth rate of 57%, as well as adding to their staff count by 35 employees over that same period, taking their total to 108.
“We continue to focus on the growth of the Nitel network,” CEO Rick Stern said. “Over the past year we’ve expanded our network to 6 core and 52 access POPs, with over 200,000 lit buildings across the country. We’ve added industry leading tools, like our MyNitel web portal, where clients can easily access their network and billing information from their desktop. And our first-of-its-kind MyNitel mobile app allows clients to get real-time network data on their iOS devices. In the coming year we look forward to further bolstering our network and increasing our innovative product set to continue our aggressive plan for growth into the future.
