Maria Arteaga sees the big picture to solve problems large or small. With a welcoming smile and keen insights, Maria is a consummate “people person.”
So it might surprise you to see that her title is director of accounting operations. (Don’t accountants bury their heads in the books – well, these days, the computers – all day?) Not when they’re as smart as Maria. Balance is important to her – achieving career, family, health and education goals. She focuses on consistent performance and continual improvement.
Maria joined Nitel in 2007 with more than 15 years of experience in telecommunications, accounting, process engineering and business systems. Her previous positions included roles at Optelcon, Universal Access and Arista Telecom.
Maria believes in infinite possibilities. It’s that type of visionary thinking that keeps our company moving forward.
