professionals at our Chicago headquarters. Successful candidates must

qualities. As the leader of the Opportunity Development team, you will
be a catalyst for the continued growth of Nitel.

The Opportunity Development Team Leader will be
responsible for:
- Interviewing, hiring and training inside sales staff.
- Overseeing outbound telemarketing calls to potential customers to pre-qualify for services, generate qualified sales leads and set qualified appointments.
- Maintaining and analyzing group and individual program performance, and initiating appropriate motivational programs to improve performance and reach goals.
- Understanding the Nitel story, product line, target client and effectively applying that knowledge to the team.
- Analyzing call center productivity by completing sales reports, call center metrics including sales per hour, cost per acquisition, attrition and lead usage using Microsoft Excel.
- Making recommendations for change to improve operational processes, including recommendations for technology.
- Appraising performance.
It is expected that the Opportunity Development manager has the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of the two. Prior telemarketing or lead generation call center management experience is required and telecommunications industry sales experience is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Candidates must have excellent writing, interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to listen, coach and provide constructive criticism is a must. Successful candidates will possess the ability to present information and respond to questions from all levels within an organization. Strong leadership skills and sensitivity to understand customer needs and business issues are key to this individual's success.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a selection of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists.
