Gary Dobel just may be the Vince Lombardi of the telecom world.
It was Lombardi who said that individual commitment to a group effort is what makes a team work.
Teamwork is as crucial for a sales force as it is for a ball team. Gary brings that philosophy to his role as senior vice president of sales for Network Innovations, a position created in 2009 to develop sales strategy and oversee our expanding sales teams nationwide.
Gary has more than 20 years of telecom industry and leadership experience. He spent much of his career in sales and executive roles with MCI, where he became recognized for building and restructuring large, world-class corporate sales and service organizations to maximize business growth potential and profitability. He was instrumental in the creation, development and implementation of MCI’s original VoIP sales strategy. He also held executive positions and leadership roles with AT&T and MFS Communications.
Gary is a graduate of Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J., and the executive education program of Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
With a wonderful wife Sharon, four great kids of his own and a legion of former colleagues who thank him for his role in their career success, it’s no wonder Gary is known as a coach, mentor, and as a leader. We’re glad to have him on our team.
