Clay Hulen is our rock star. Literally.
Not only is he our versatile, energetic, go-to sales guy, but he was the lead singer in a rock band. What’s more, he’s logged time as an improv comedy performer.
These days, he just keeps us smiling.
As director of sales since 2007, Clay oversees our continually expanding sales function in strategic markets around the nation. His responsibilities include recruiting, training, and managing our client services efforts while meeting revenue goals and customer commitments.
Clay’s zest for life and work keep him – and us – going. He brings people and goals together. He is passionate about telecom; he has built relationships over nearly two decades in the industry. Before joining Nitel, he worked at American Fiber Systems, Metromedia Fiber Networks (Abovenet), MFS, AT&T and Sprint. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.
Outside the office, you’ll find Clay spending time with his family, playing tennis, listening to live music, and generally enjoying life.
