	The Inner City 100, a project of the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, highlights the fastest growing inner city businesses in America. Companies were ranked by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) based on their revenue over the five-year period between 2005 and 2009. Nitel ranked 7th on this year’s list.
	The Inc. 500/5000 recognizes the fastest growing private companies in America. This year's list marks the third consecutive year Nitel has been recognized by this national publication.
	Each year, Crain's Chicago Business recognizes the fifty fastest growing companies in the Chicago metropolitan area. For the third consecutive year, Nitel has been named to this list.
	The National Association for Business Resources (NABR) advocates and represents small and medium-sized businesses throughout the United States. Each an independent research firm evaluates companies on communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, recruitment and selection and work-life balance.
	Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year® is the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. The award encourages entrepreneurial activity and recognizes leaders and visionaries who demonstrate innovation, financial success and personal commitment as they create and build world-class businesses. In 2010, Nitel CEO Rick Stern was named a finalist in the Midwest division.
	Members of the indirect channel selected these carriers, service providers, resellers, manufacturers and master agents as being the best when it comes to ease of doing business, quick quoting, responsiveness, extra support, higher commissions and better spiffs.
	Three Nitel channel managers -- Joe Bartosz, Brian Carney and Jason Para -- were nominated by master agents, subagents and independent agents and selected by an online poll in which more than 1,000 votes were received for 133 candidates.
	Nitel was named among the top 5 resellers in the telecom industry by voting members of Telecom Association, a professional membership organization of over 3,800 telecom and technology consultants, agents, brokers and sales partners.

	Nitel CEO Rick Stern and COO Ron Grason were inducted into the UIC Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. As the oldest and most prestigious Chicago area entrepreneurship award, it recognizes innovators and leaders in business. Each year distinguished entrepreneurs who have demonstrated entrepreneurial talent by founding and/or growing a local business are inducted. By highlighting outstanding entrepreneurs, the award recognizes excellence and encourages business leaders, students and government officials to honor the entrepreneurial spirit.
